I also now offer digital photo restoration. Images that have been ripped accidentally or old photos with creases and signs of age can now be restored sympathetically while at the same time producing a digital copy of the images making producing copies and securely storing them much easier.
Due to the varying difficulty restoring photos prices vary from between £5 and £50, please have a look at the ordering page or contact me for further details.
£5 – £15 reworks are usually very minor creases and stain removal, spots or minor dust removal or colour adjustments.
Converting this photograph to black and white, adding contrast to the faded image and removing a small amount of dust cost £20
This image had lots of dust right across the fine detail of the child’s hat and was also extremely faded with various stains in the background so was priced at £35
A very faded photo of a cat on scales after 30mins work makes a charming photo to frame and put up on a wall. Cost for this work or similar, £15
A photo with 2 large creases and some dust. This is a more involved job with reconstruction of the creased areas required. Similar work would cost approximately £35
This is an example of an image requiring the higher end of our restoration price guide. There is large quantities of dust, damage caused by finger marks across faces and detail in the photograph as well as sections missing from the photo as well as large areas with creases.
These images are often the most rewarding to restore as the results can be dramatically different from the originals but as such usually range between £40 and £50 to restore.
